Did You Know?
The College of Engineering provides all faculty, staff, GRA/GTA/GAAs, and PhD students with a profile that is mirrored across our websites including the main College website. You can update your profile by going to https://people.engineering.osu.edu, logging in and selecting "Profiles" at the top followed by "My Profile".
Upcoming Work
- Monday, March 14 – Wednesday, March 16 - ETS will be replacing network switches throughout Knowlton Hall that will result in intermittent and short outages. While you are unlikely to experience, as many faculty/staff areas will be switched over in the evening, any connection issues should last no longer than 20 minutes. OSUwireless will also be available throughout the planned worked.
- Monday, March 14 from 11:30 P.M. – 1:30 A.M. – ETS will be working with OTDI to improve network performance and our access to the internet. During this time there will be intermittent network disruptions to/from College of Engineering resources, (e.g., from Engineering devices to the internet, from offsite to the Pulse VPN).
How Do I Edit My Profile?
To edit your College of Engineering profile, follow these steps:
1. Go to https://people.engineering.osu.edu
2. Log in by using the link in the top right corner
3. When you are logged in, you will see a link in the top right corner for Profiles
4. Click Profiles, then My Profile to bring up you profile
5. Click the blue Edit Profile button
6. In the Edit Profile page, click the green Getting Started Guide button
After editing your profile, click Save at the bottom of the page. Changes to your profile should be seen immediately on people.engineering.osu.edu. Your changes should appear on the main engineering website (engineering.osu.edu) within an hour. Your changes will also be updated on any CoE website where your profile appears, such as a department or center website.
