Accessibility Accommodation Notification from SLDS Process

"Student Life Disability Services (SLDS) collaborates with and empowers students who have disabilities in order to coordinate support services and programs that enable equal access to an education and university life."

Occasionally faculty will receive a message from SLDS stating a student in their course requires an accessibility accommodation. These accommodations can range from needing closed captioning added to all videos or webinars, ensuring digital content is accessible by a screen reader, sign language interpretation, notetaking support, exam or attendance modifications, certain assistive technologies and more.

When an accommodation request is received that involves the need for accessible digital content, please review the request in its entirety and check the ETS Digital Accessibility pages to look for easy ways to meet the accommodation. If there are still questions or concerns, please reach out to the Digital Accessibility Coordinator through the ETS Help Desk
