The staff of Engineering Technology Services believe our IT organization plays a pivotal role in advancing education, research, and innovation. We are a dedicated team of professionals committed to providing technology solutions and support to faculty, staff, and students. We find true enjoyment in collaborating with our customers to identify new solutions and working together to advance technology in the College of Engineering.

Our Mission

Our mission is to empower the College of Engineering community through innovative and reliable IT services. We strive to foster a technology-rich environment that enhances teaching, learning, and research, while also ensuring the security and integrity of our infrastructure and data.

What We Offer

  1. State-of-the-Art Infrastructure: We maintain a robust IT infrastructure that supports the unique needs of engineering disciplines. This includes storage, specialized software, and advanced networking capabilities just to name a few.
  2. General IT Support: We are available 8a-5p M-F to assist with technical issues, software troubleshooting, and connectivity problems with a virtual helpdesk option available 9a-12p and 1-4p M-F for instant assistance.
  3. Research Support: We collaborate closely with faculty and researchers to provide the tools and resources needed for groundbreaking research endeavors.
  4. Secure Data Management: Ensuring the confidentiality and security of sensitive data is a top priority. We implement cybersecurity measures and data protection protocols as well as providing an internal storage solution to supplement cloud offerings.
  5. Innovative Teaching and Learning: We work alongside educators to integrate technology into the curriculum, facilitating interactive and engaging learning experiences.
  6. Software Resources: From software downloads to virtual environments, we offer comprehensive software resources to help students excel academically.
