About

Located in academic buildings and research centers throughout the University, Engineering Technology Service (ETS) is the foundational support for enterprise systems and services for the College of Engineering. Established in 2015, our newly formed organization provides a hybrid model that promotes centralized shared service offerings along with highly skilled distributed technology professionals.

The appointment of the first Chief Information Office and formation of ETS were outcomes from the College’s Strategic Plan. The Findings and Recommendations proposal was approved in the spring of 2015 and the execution to design and build a superior infrastructure in support of research, teaching and learning began.
